Frequently Asked Questions

What food is provided?

Our hens provide fresh eggs daily. The kitchen is stocked with basic condiments, cooking oils, pantry staples, as well as coffee and tea. Meal planning beyond that is up to you — feel free to bring your own groceries or enjoy one of the many restaurants located within a 15-minute drive from the farm.

Is there a grill?

Yes! A gas grill is located just outside the kitchen door, with a full tank and ready to use. Additional kitchen amenities include a Keurig, air fryer, KitchenAid mixer, and a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, cookware, plates, glasses, cutlery, and even a roasting pan.

Do we need to bring firewood?

No — we've got you covered. Firewood, kindling, fire starters, and s'mores sticks are all provided. Clear night skies are common here, and shooting stars are often spotted. Bring your own telescope if you'd like to take stargazing to the next level.

We'd like to fish in your pond. What do we need to bring? Do we need a license?

We've been told our pond isn't a fishing pond — it's a catching pond! Stocked with panfish, bass, catfish, and carp, it's fun for all ages and skill levels. No fishing license is required, but please bring your own poles and bait.

So... farm chores — how much work is it really?

Your level of involvement is entirely up to you. Some guests prefer to relax and enjoy watching the animals in the fields, while others love getting hands-on. From feeding chickens and grooming horses to loading hay or cleaning stalls, there's always something happening on the farm — and I'm happy to help make those experiences safe and enjoyable.
